Phone Cases by Feature
Protection and slimness are a compromise
The most important point first: there is no case that is both as thin as possible and as shockproof as possible. The two features directly contradict each other, because protection against drops simply requires material thickness.
So the question is not which case is “the best”, but where you personally stand on this scale. Someone who mainly uses their smartphone at a desk needs something different from someone who takes it to a building site or uses it during sport.
The features at a glance
Rugged phone cases – Reinforced corners, multi-layer construction, raised edges. For anyone whose device sometimes has to take a harder knock.
Slim phone cases – Minimal volume, light weight. When the slim profile of your smartphone should be preserved.
MagSafe cases – Integrated magnetic ring for wireless charging and magnetic accessories without detours.
Phone cases with camera protection – Raised frame or lens cover for the area that protrudes furthest.
Features or functions?
Features describe how a case is built. If you are instead looking for what the case should be able to do – hold cards, cover the display or be worn crossbody – you will find this under phone cases by function.
If you would rather choose by looks, you will find what you are looking for under Colours, Designs and Materials.
